How do you convert device coords to map coords? [message #5469]

Does anyone know how to convert a cursor position in device
coordinates to lat/long after using "map_set"?

I am displaying multiple map views in different windows and want
to be able to recover the lat/long coords from a mouse event in
any one of them. I tried to restore !map and !p.t as they were
immediately after the call to map_set, without success.
