When I try to execute this, I get the following error message:

IDL> .run hello.pro
IDL> hello

nirpts,tgnirtyb(rt(e))74
^
% Syntax error.

So, I can't figure out how it works since it doesn't seem to work (IDL6.3,
PowerBook G4)

Suggestions? Seems like a byte swap problem to me.
