Ah, the paradox of choice. I'm *so* glad I don't use IDEs[*].

I just requested an update to IDL v7.0 from my sysadmins. After reading this thread, I'm
not sure that was such a good idea..... :o)

[*] Not because I think they're bad in and of themselves, just that I've yet to see a
useful one (apart from a regular old command line coupled with a good editor, of course).
