I tried both subclipse and subversive - I chose subclipse. I had some
problems with subversive, but sorry I can't remember the details,
except that removing the plugins was a bit of pain. I ended up
"rolling back" to the original plugin setup and re-installing
subclipse (luckily this was only a day into IDL7). Among the things I

Your mileage may vary...
Also, I think that either of these plugins requires that you install
and maintain subversion itself separately. That's pretty easy,
really, I might be able to help if someone needs help, but there are
plenty of better resources out there.
