I'm making good progress here thanks to you - until I got the error
message
HDF_SD_START: Unable to start the HDF-SD interface.

I searched the internet for answers, found a couple (restart
IDL, .reset_session, i even restarted the computer) but it didnt
help.
I had this problem a couple days ago, but could solve it with restart/
reset session. I wonder what's it this time...

Any brilliant ideas? (I have to say I'm working on a laptop.. so might
it be memory problems?)
