Oh, you'll have some fun there! Far and away the best thing to do
is just go to Sixth Street and check out all the bands and bars.
I admit that before I went to Austin this January, I though the
whole 'live music capital of the world' was probably just hype, but
I was blown away when I got there. If you don't like who's playing in
one bar, there will be six or ten more bands to choose from on the
way down just that one block...

The other thing you should do is check out the bats of the Congress
Avenue bridge. There are literally a million of 'em, and it's quite a
sight to see when they take off in the evening.
