Another solution exists if you're using Spaces in 10.5: The F8 key
will bring up the overview of your 'spaces' and at that point you can
drag a window around to your heart's content. I do this all the time
when the top of a window gets stuck under the menu bar, which happens
when I shift between different configurations of monitors with my
laptop.
