I have IDL for Alpha OpenVMS. I have only a very little experience with
it yet, but I am hoping it will help me with a task I need to solve.
I need to make an image of Earth with an overlay of a data image from our
spacecraft imager. If I get a "flat" image of Earth to start with can
anyone suggest some places to start in getting it mapped to the point of
view that I need, etc. I know IDL has some mapping and maps already, but
is there a good "photo" of Earth or are they just simple maps?
Please respond directly via e-mail
