In IDL, Ronn's DLM as others have mentioned. Outside IDL, Imagen and
Videomach from Gromada

http://www.gromada.com/

Imagen is a player that can do frame dumps and is free. Videomach is
an editor and costs US$25. They are both very good.

These are all available only in Windows. This is one of my main
reasons for sticking with Windows.
