I haven't given up yet but I'm running out of fuel for this one. I've
emailed NSIDC and will see what they reply and will update this thread
if anything happens.

Thanks for trying so hard on this one David. I'm sure you'll crack it
open either as soon as you really give up and not just claim to, or
they provide the correct numbers.
