David,

I inserted a call to XMANAGER immediately after realizing the base
widget, but encounter the same fatal error.
The XMANAGER call was:

XMANAGER,'edit_lighting', lightingBase, GROUP_LEADER =(*info).tlb, /
NO_BLOCK

Is this call correct?
