More info in the event that it helps.

If I start the shell with C-c C-l the shell successfully starts, but as
soon as I enter the *idl* buffer, I get the segfault.

I can't say for sure when this started since it's been a while since I've
done much/any IDL editing...

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions you might have to offer.
