Just one more thing, gridding to sphere is a few times slower than to
a grid with Cartesian coordinates. It takes me almost half a minute to
get the global geotiff with one MODIS band at 0.1 degree resolution.
Perhaps there is a faster way to do it, but that can do somebody
else. :)
