I'm a relatively inexperienced IDL user. I've managed a few programs that
have some fancy things, but not a lot. Now I've got a scientist who wants
to do registering of data from two different instruments, and he wants me to
do it with IDL. We've got some non-IDL code to do it floating around here
somewhere, but before I went and found it I thought I'd post here and see if
someone has already done it with IDL. If you have, either post or email me
(at ian@gomez.jpl.nasa.gov), and we'll discuss it further.
