I am learning that publishing a book is very much like
doing research. Chaos rules! Then, either a single
clarifying idea breaks through and (Eureka!) solves
the problem, or (more likely) you start making decisions
that eliminate possibilities until you are left with
something you can actually handle.

I'm pretty sure I'm still in the chaos stage. :-)
