Oh, hang on! I can make sense of that. No colorbar
information in the contour plot (got commented out).

But, if I fix that, then this program definitely
crashes my computer, with both software and hardware
rendering turned on. Removing the TICKNAME keyword
from the COLORBAR function solves the problem in
both cases.

This is *really* strange, because yesterday afternoon
this program was working! It was my main test program.
I just confirmed that I am running my new driver. I
guess I could try clearing out all the files in my
cache again, but this is getting to be a TOTAL bother! :-(
