Hi,

MATLAB Central's website has a section called Cody in which users can
create and solve problems. Problem solutions are graded on
computational efficiency. Seeing what other people scored and knowing
that there is a better, more efficient way to do things helps me think
about how to program better as well as discover different programming
tricks, techniques, and functions.

MATLAB also provides a test program that will evaluate a user written
function or procedure and rate its efficiency.

Since I use IDL much more frequently than I use MATLAB, but am more of
a scientist than a programmer, I would find an IDL version of Cody or
the efficiency test program very helpful. Does anyone know if
something like this exists?
