Hi,

I am trying to fit a 3D data using MPFIT2DFUNC.

This is how my program in IDL looks:

readcol, '06jd.dat', X, Y, Z, ERR
.comp myfunc1.pro
start = [1.D, 1.D, 1.D, 0.5]
pi=replicate({fixed:0, limited:[0,0], limits:[0.D,0.D]},4)
pi(2).fixed=1
pi(2) = 1.04
result = MPFIT2DFUNC('MYFUNC1', X, Y, Z, ERR, start, PARINFO=pi,
perror=dparm)
print, result, dparm

Below is the error I am getting. Please let me know where I am wrong.

result = MPFIT2DFUNC('MYFUNC1', X, Y, Z, ERR, start, PARINFO=pi,
