David, thanks much!
Another thing I noticed that doesn't work is the xtick_get keyword,
when the /Add keyword is present.
Can that be fixed as well? I'd like to store the tick values like
this:

cgContour, data1, Levels=levels, C_Color=c_colors, /Fill, $
XStyle=1, YStyle=1, /Add , xtick_get=vt

but if I execute:

print,vt

vt is told to be undefined.
