On my Macbook Pro, IDL 8.1 and 8.2 under Lion were tied by lmhostid to
the ethernet network card. After upgrade to Mountain Lion, 8.2
complained about an invalid license file. It turned out that now
lmhostid reports the mac address of the wireless network card. The
solution was to edit/generate a new license file.
