The best rendering system for a given computer is always
hardware IF it works. The way you will know if it works
is to distribute it as widely as possible. When you start
getting e-mails that start out "Dude, my five year old daughter
can write better software than you!" you will know that
the software option was probably a better choice for
that computer. :-)
