Humm. This command works perfectly for me:

IDL> cghistoplot, cgdemodata(7), /rotate

Any chance you are not running the command you *think* you are running?

What does this say?

IDL> Print, File_Which('cghistoplot.pro')

Is that pointing to the one you just downloaded?
