But don't try to search for "interfaces IDL", you might get confusing
answers ;-)

Is there a reason why IDL won't allow interfaces and abstract classes,
by the way? For simplicity?

It's not that I am really missing those, but it would make some aspects
of the documentation of library code a bit easier.
