To screen:
% Time elapsed: 11.061576 seconds. (now larger than the Linux remote case from Lajos)

To cgWindow->PNG (using ImageMagick)
% Time elapsed: 71.683804 seconds.

For the "->PNG" case, I've noticed that the plot is "redrawn" in the cgWindow (i.e., it seems to be plotted twice).
