I just ran into this problem. It still exists.

{ x86_64 darwin unix Mac OS X 8.0 Jun 17 2010 64 64}

Summary
* Use [XY]OFFSET in tlb
* Use /DYNAMIC_RESIZE in WIDGET_LABEL
* Realize widget & move to new location
* Change the value of the widget label (so that the length changes significantly)
--> Widget jumps back to original location.

Fix:
a) Do not use [XY]OFFSET in the tlb
b) Use XSIZE instead of DYNAMIC_RESIZE for the widget label.
