I'm writing a GUI, and for various reasons I want text typed in with
the caps lock key engaged to be processed differently than with it
disengaged. Of course, that's easy to do with the modifiers tag in
the event --- but does anyone have any ideas on how to detect if caps
lock is engaged *PRIOR* to hitting a key? Specifically, I'd like an
LED in the GUI to light up when CAPS is engaged, but I need to know if
the user has caps on when they started the GUI?

An easy fix would be to have the GUI issue an event right at start up
then I can get the initial state....

Thanks for any advice...

Russell
