Hi all :
I represent a small consulting firm in Northern New Mexico that will
soon be hiring an IDL developer to replace myself, as I am moving out
of state (May-June expected time frame). I am seeking interested (and
preferably local) programmers on the group here that I could present
as potential candidates to the company. This position is for the sole
programmer for a (very) small company, and this person would be
inheriting my code and need to expand upon it. We have IDL 7.0 and
ENVI 4.5; knowledge of ENVI and basic remote sensing a huge +. GIS
know how and a bit of basic ecology also are pluses. This code will
also soon need to interface to the web, so Java or Ruby programming is
most helpful, too. I will be available to the new hire to give an
overview of the existing code and answer questions.
Please contact me via email off the group for further information.
Thanks!
