hi,

A small request for the very useful fsc_inputfield:

I would like to use this widget and return either long integer or
double floats by default. There are input keywords that can be used
to accomplish this, however there is one small issue with using double
precision floats. When the "DoubleValue" keyword is specified, the
number shown in the field is followed by a lower-case "d".

The meaning of this extra "d" character is clear to IDL programmers,
but for the general user this may be a bit confusing. Can we have an
option to hide this "d" in the field, but still return a double float
when the "doublevalue" keyword is used?

thanks!
Mark
