I would like to know if there is an IDL routine or if anyone has coded a routine in IDL to "reverse" a kronecker product. In other words, to make a Kronecker division.

I have a Kronecker product of a known and an unknown matrix: A = B ⊗ C, where A and C are known and I wish to know B. Incidentally, C is an identity matrix times a known constant.

This IS possible, mathematically, isn't it?

Any advice?

Thanks,
Caroline
