I'm trying to run the demo code from

http://www.exelisvis.com/docs/ImageWithMapProjection.html

and I'm stumbling on the first call to MAP():

IDL> m = map('Mercator', /buffer, semimajor_axis=6378137d, semiminor_axis=6378137d)
% Incorrect number of arguments.
IDL> help, !version

From what I understand (from talking with Eduardo & googling) this is an IE9 issue. Formatting is preserved when pasting copied text to Wordpad, then copy/pasting from Wordpad to the Workbench. Not great, but it is a workaround.

Thanks, Mark. The Wordpad workaround is working. But IE is right: it has no reason to arbitrarily change the format, even if Windows text formatting is not the same than '*nix's one. The Workbench editor should do that: maybe a way to tune some "preferences" ?
alain.
