dialog_message is running into issues and causing idl to seg fault on one of the machines i work with. The machine is a Mac Pro running Snow Leopard and idl 7.1.1. Several other machines, all running either Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion and also using idl 7.1.1, have no problem with dialog_message. The machine in question has no problem with any other dialog_* commands or widget commands in general. In fact the program I am running is an entirely widget based program and that calls dialog_message at the very end to inform the user that the end of the current file has been reached.

The machine in question is only used remotely through ssh (if that makes any difference), though I can ssh into any number of other machines in the building and they have no problem running dialog_message.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what the problem might be?
