Hi all,

I'm trying to label some contours, but IDL keeps putting the labels on vertical contour segments (I assume because these are the most 'straight'. Is there a way to tell contour that I want the labels to be horizontal? I'm guessing that this can probably only be done using object graphics, but thought I'd check just in case!

An example can be found here: http://physics.open.ac.uk/~lsteele/cont_label.png
