Folks,

For some image analysis purpose and sake of convinience, I used Dr. Liam

Gumley's routine 'imagemap.pro', in which Conver-coord is called to

convert lat-lon coordination of a satellite image or that sort to a grid

system and at the same time, a new image is generated. The question is if

I use def-roi function to pick up an array of pixels I'm interested in,

can I use these pixels' indices to get accurate information of the

'orinigal' pixels' latitudes and longitudes given the new image generated

by the routine and the index of each pixel I pikced up?

PS: thanks for all the replies to my previous questions. they really

helped me to solve the problems. Very nice place for a person like me

whos learning IDL urgently.:)
