I have a funny problem regarding mpeg files made in idl. To improve
the quality of the file I have set the iframe_gap parameter to 4 in
MPEG_OPEN. Otherwise the the image is rather coarse. The file plays
fine using gtv on linux. But on windows machines, using real player
or windows media player, the image quality deteriorates as you play
the file. I.e., the image quality is fine in the beginning, but in the
end it is a total mess. Does anyone have an explanation or a fix of
this problem?
