I've just started using the more 'advanced' plotting routines in
pv-wave 4.2, but got lost already at the start. This is what I
want to do:
The data I'm working with is spectral peaks in speech. Each data
point consists of three values (in Hz). I want to (a) plot these
in a '3-D box' as points (=3-D "scatterplot") and (b) also plot
subsets of the data as volumes (i.e. dress the point swarms with
a surface so that they appear as shaded clouds). I'm really at
loss here - I tried to learn about volumes, voxels and so on,
but I get stuck each time (yes, I know, I should learn more
basics about graphics).
Anybody know where I should start looking? If you did something
similar perhaps you could point me in the right direction?
Thank you,
