Folks,

I am working with some georeferenced images in ENVI and
I would like to overlay the outlines of the GSHHS shoreline
database on these images. Essentially, I guess I would
like to make an ENVI vector file from these data so I
could overlay the vector file on my image.

Has anyone done such a thing? Any suggestions
for how to go about it?

I currently have such a vector file available to me,
and it works a treat, but it takes nearly 3.5 minutes
to load for each image!! I'm drinking too much
coffee. :-(

I'm just looking for good ideas to speed this up.
