POLAR_CONTOUR 'PS' Bug? [message #4603] Thu, 06 July 1995 00:00

I am using IDL4.0 on an MS Windows 3.1 machine with 8 MB of RAM
and 150 MB spare hard-disk space. Has anyone found any bugs when
using the new POLAR_CONTOUR procedure? The /FOLLOW and /DOWNHILL
keywords do not seem to work with this procedure. When using the
'WIN' device for displaying the plots correct results are obtained
using POLAR_CONTOUR, but when using the 'PS' device the plots are
often corrupted. I have sent the files to three laser printers
and in all cases there are offending errors. I have used the program
GHOSTSCRIPT to display the 'PS' files and the errors are clearly
seen in the images. Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
Is the bug in IDL or is it some formatting problem with my P.C.?
