Hi Aaron,
If you have some simple test cases that show these problems, that
would be great.
Thanks!

I think we will all be laughing about this by about
IDL 10.3. :-)

Cheers,

David

P.S. Let's just say "unrealized potential" and wait
for the next (God, I hope it's soon!) release.

P.S.S. Have I mentioned the lack of a working WShow
command is a *constant* irritation and is adding about
two hours to every working day. :-(

P.S.S.S. The good news, I suppose, is that people who
wouldn't even think about using iTools at least see
potential in the new graphics and are willing to try
them. Whether they can be fixed fast enough to keep
everyone engaged is an open question, but I hope so.

I lied. I'm also having all sorts of issues with their colorbar
routine (can you even specify x colors?), ticklen isn't working
properly (what?), etc. The IDL 8.0 graphics honeymoon is over and boy
was it brief!

Oh, dear! :-(

Cheers,

David
