I posting this article to ask again about plotting 3-D irregular data.
I would like to thank all the people who responded to my last post. Most
of them suggested that I try to use the TRIANGULATE and TRIGRID procedures
to view my data. This doesn't seem to work very well in my case. Someone
suggested that I use the PLOT3d command, but I haven't been able to find
this command in the version of IDL I am using. I have however discovered
the command PLOTS which seems to be what I'm looking for. However, I can't
seem to figure out how to make it plot in 3-D coordinates. I've looked at
the help which says I need to set the T3D keyword and make sure that
!p.T3D = 1. I've tried this but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
