Hi Folks,

I've seen some more strange things this week with an IDL
course I am teaching on Windows NT machines with Matrox
graphics cards. The graphics in my IDL 5 object graphics
programs are funny. For example, the axes labels routinely
disappear on my surface plots when an expose event is
generated. Or, occasionally, an image won't show up
until a specific event is generated. I've even seen
the view rectangle seem to "readjust" itself. :-(

I'm trying to collect more specific information. Has anyone
else had problems? I NEVER see this kind of behavior with
my Windows NT machine with a NeoMagic graphics card.
Uh, I'm pretty sure it is NOT a programming error. :-)

I appreciate any and all information.

Cheers,

David
