Scenario:
IBM RS/6000, IDL. Version 3.0.0 (AIX ibmr2).
One open window showing a beautiful :-) image.
I would like to produce a gif-file containing the image.
Problem:
If read this image into an array with 'img = TVRD()', img is offset
to the left by one pixel, i.e. if I use 'TV, img', the resulting
image is displaced by one pixel (compared to the original). Additionally,
the text (hardwarefont 'rom22' and 'rom14', which are IBM-specific)
in this image gets completely confused (the characters seem to overlap).
Has anyone seen this before? Is it a bug im TVRD or am I doing
something silly? Is there another way to produce a 'file.gif' besides
img = tvrd() + write_gif, img ?????
Hiiiiilfe, (which is Heeeeelp in english)
Peter
