IDL "window,colors=100" crashes MacX 1.2 [message #1664]

The above command causes MacX 1.2 to crash on my Mac IIfx under
system 7.1. Older versions of MacX behave properly but don't
have as many free colors.

Any help in solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
