We will buy IDL very soon. I have been playing with the Windows demo. and
I have some questions which I would greatly appreciate help with (specially
the last one):
Is there a Tcl/Tk interface for IDL ? The idea being to communicate
directly with Tcl/Tk applications and also use Tcl/Tk for making GUIs
within IDL.
Is there anyone out the working with time-series data (preferably
geophysical data sets) who is willing to share IDL tools with us ?
When I run Xmosaic there is an "Open DTM out Port" option. I was
told that IDL can communicate with Mosaic using this. How ?
Will/does IDL support CDF with zVariables ?
Can I use HDF-netCDF with the netCDF option or must I use plain netCDF ?
Where can I contact someone about pricing and getting a "deal" for
our specific setup (PCs, Decstations, Vaxes and Suns) ?
