Hello Eric,

Let me summarize what I initialy asked and said. Yes, I am currently
using the widgets from within IDL. However as everyone notices, these
are only a very very tiny (and have only limited functionality) when
compared with Motifs widget set. Also, attempting to make OSF Motif
standard windows with them is,.. exciting. Thefore, I asked: Is there a
way to directly access Motif from within IDL.
Since then, I have found out (from friends at whatever PV-waves
company is called these days) that PV-Wave does support this.
However, switching products is for myself and SMA most likely out of
the question.
