I don't have your specific setup, but I run 5.2.1 on RH 7.2. I know there
were problems with 5.1 as it was a libc5 application so you needed a libc5
runtime installed. I don't have 5.2 so I can't check on that specific
version.

Can you give is more detailed info on the problems you are having?
