Michael,

If you want a full blooded IDL researchers application for Analyze or
various raw MRI formats, you could try MRIVIEW from Doug Ranken
at LANL.

There's blurb about MRIVIEW at :-

if you can get through to it - there seem to be server problems
right now.

Alternatively you could try emailing Doug at ranken@lanl.gov.
