Hello,

I'm a newbie with Linux. I've tried to understand what I found in the google
groups archive about that incompatibility I encounter when installing IDL
5.02 with RedHat 8 :

ELF interpreter : it does not find an old gcc library (*.so.1)

but it is still unclear to me.

Would anybody have the courage to explain me step by step what I have to do
?
