Hello Everyone,
I have a tough one this time and could use some input. I am trying to
calculate the area in a "region of interest" in a stereographic projection.
This task could be easily accomplished, if I could express the area by means
of a whole bunch of tiny triangles. I tried to use the TRIANGULATE function.
However, this function produces a convex hull of the area. Therefore, a
crescent shape turns into something like a half circle, whose area is much
bigger than the wanted crescent shape. Is there a way "convince" TRIANGULATE
to only report triangles within the ROI? If not, or if someone else has a
better idea, I would be very delighted to hear from you!

Greetings,
Haje
