Hi all

I have learned the /regex keyword but who could explain this:

a='ABC$DEF'
print,strsplit(a,'$',/extr)

ABC DEF

and

a='ABC$DEF'
print,strsplit(a,'$',/extr,/regex)

ABC$DEF


Why is this differnt?
