HANLE_* routines, linked list in IDL from database cursor? [message #2567]

Since IDL 3.6.1 there are new "HANDLE_*" routines to manage linked lists.
The new documentation for IDL 3.6 doesn't seen to be ready yet to get
more information on how to use these new routines.

I would like to dynamically create IDL linked lists directly from embedded SQL
cursors. Has arleady someone done this? Is there a better way than reading
from a spawn-/noshell-pipe?
